Artchivist
Your digital housekeeper
I’m Fox Walker
fine artist and data scientist.
This business got started because lots of my artist friends needed help to get organized, the dread of archiving snowballed into them missing deadlines for grants applications and missing out on staying on top of everything. For me this is really easy and I love organizing while looking at art.
Step 1: A conversation
about what works for you. Finding the dream, the ideal, the flow designed for you.
Step 2: Documenting everything
in high detail via scanning or photography.
Depending on the size and nature of your work I have showed up with cameras, 360 video, large DPI scanners or a phone. We do as many sessions as needed to document your work.
Step 3: Architecting an organizational system
Our objective is to have everything recorded and easily findable for you.
Do you prefer to have things chronological or by exhibitions? What software or tools do you like using? Together we will find a way for you to be independent and carry on.
Step 4: Conquering public presence.
Simplifying social media scheduling, adding your gallery to google maps, updating the website with the most recent work. We do it together!
Step 5: Online store sales, inventory management and growth.
Converting of your creativity into a sustainable business.
I’ll do the grunt work on picking the right online store and building it out to suit your needs. I will also scout for grants and galleries that are aligned with your work.
Step 6: Bookkeeping and tax prep.
As a licenced Intuit bookkeeping specialist I can help you navigate the monthly, quarterly, or annual sales and projections. I can set up the books, keep them clean and integrate a CRM with your store and payment processor.
My clients range from less than 10k in annual revenue to 5mil in inventory and expenses.
Pricing
I cost about 2 to 3 studio assistants.
Pricing is a dayrate depending on what you need done. Is it just to document or do you need help just setting up your online shop? Will I need to travel and get accommodations or can I stay on your foldout lazyboy? Stuff like that I can’t predict but generally speaking :
$40 - $70 per hour
Dayrate $400 - $700 per 10 hours
